The silver one is the way to go. no finger prints, has a brushed aluminum painted styled finish and I love it. Glad I didn't go for the black version. The style is exactly like the Asus 1005, light weight, quiet, but the screen is fantastic! Its slightly glossy, with a detail resolution that has not been seen on a net book yet to my knowledge. I have a HP dual core 2.0 laptop , model Dv4, 14 inch laptop and the resolution is sharper on this unit. I have an HD Aiptek video camera I use for my home movies and it plays the 1080P mov files easily (which none of the other Asus's could). I still want to load imovie, Nero and my portable USB burner with I haven't tested but expect no problems.
